Painting has been a source of expression, contemplation and freedom throughout my life. Trained in life drawing, design, and illustration, I earned a BA from the College of St. Catherine. I worked for years as a graphic designer and this influence shows up in my work in the form of thick black outlines, flat planes of vibrant color and shapes and pieces that weave together to form a whole.
